About the Project
In an ongoing effort to provide reliable public safety radio service and quality wireless service, Loudoun County Public Safety and AT&T have identified your community as one that will benefit from improved network coverage and is in need of improved communication capabilities.
Milestone Towers is proposing a wireless telecommunications facility at Woodgrove High School, addressed 36811 Allder School Road, Purcellvile, VA 20132.
The proposal is for a 165-foot lattice tower and will include ground equipment required to operate the facility.
This equipment will be located at the base of the structure in a secure fenced area. Loudoun County Public Safety and AT&T will be the first to locate on the proposed tower.
Update #1: LCPS and Milestone Towers will be holding a Community Meeting Tuesday, May 3rd @ 5:00 pm in the Woodgrove High School cafeteria. The meeting will have an informational presentation followed by a Q&A session.
Our Process
1. Due Diligence
Survey, FAA, FCC, NEPA, Phase 1, Geotechnical Analysis.
2. Land Use
Community Meeting, LCPS Board review, Town and County approval process.
3. Permitting
Conduct Bid Walk With Contractors and school representatives, Submit Site Plan and Building Permit applications.
4. Construction
Tower construction = 4-6 weeks | Carrier construction = 4-6 weeks on average
On-site supervision by Construction Manager | Schedule with schools to minimize disturbance to student activities.
5. Site Maintenance
Four visits per year for site maintenance | Remove trash, debris, check signage.
Annual RF testing | 2-4 visits per year for carrier modifications.
